Visiting Hours

For the comfort of our patients and the convenience of family members and visitors, Horizon Medical Center honors the following visiting hours:

Medical/Surgical Unit
9 AM - 9 PM
We request visitors be limited
to two (2) per patient at a time.

Obstetrics Unit
9 AM - 9 PM
Fathers, siblings or support persons may visit at any time
with a visitor's pass from the obstetrics nurse.
Children under 12 years of age may visit only if a sibling.

Intensive Care Unit
6 AM - 6:30 AM
9 AM - 9:30 AM
1 PM - 1:30 PM
5 PM - 5:30 PM
8:30 PM - 9 PM
Visitation is restricted to two (2) persons at least 12 years of age.

Skilled Nursing Unit
Family members may visit patients at any time
subject to the protection of the rights of other patients.
Non-family members may visit between the hours of 11 AM and 9 PM.

Generations Unit
Visitation hours for approved visitors:

Monday - Friday
Noon - 1:30 PM
6 PM - 7:30 PM

Saturday - Sunday
Noon - 3:15 PM
6 PM - 7:30 PM

Permission must be obtained from the nursing staff prior to having visitors after regular visiting hours.

A family member may stay overnight with a patient. Please notify the nursing staff that someone will be spending the night.
